You can guarantee that when you take a lesson or class with the Greco Surf Academy team you’ll enjoy one of the best experiences of your life. Teaching someone how to surf is not just a job to us but a personal investment that our instructors take very seriously. No other instructor will smile bigger to see you stand up for your first time, knock down your first trick or having the time of your life than the instructors on the Greco Surf team. We aren’t here just to be your teachers, but rather your friends that you can always count on to offer free advice outside of your lesson and be apart of your new progressive surf life.
* Greco Surf caters to the student. Our instructors are very flexible on the time and location. We have instructors based out of the Orange County (San Clemente, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach) and Los Angeles (Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes) areas so give us a call and we’ll be happy to set you up with a lesson.
Personal Lessons
Choose your location and time and we will have an instructor there to meet you. Our private lessons are offered with beginners, intermediate and even advanced. All our instructors are lifeguard, CPR and first aid certified so that you can feel completely safe with our academy lessons and classes.

NAME: Ian Culbertson
NICKNAME: Oshamado BIRTHPLACE: Venice Beach, California ALUMNI: UC Santa Cruz MAJOR: Marine Biology STRENGTH: Longboarding/Funboarding EXPERIENCE: His Central American roots has led him to surf in all parts of Central and South America since he was little. While at UC Santa Cruz, he was a 4 year surf instructor. Upon graduating he took his experience to UCLA where he then decided to join the Greco Surfboards Academy team. GREATEST SURF THRILL: Surfing home breaks in El Salvador and surfing the Northern coast of California. |

NICKNAME: Faith BIRTHPLACE: Auburn, California ALUMNI: Message Therapy School MAJOR: Certified Sports Massage Therapist C.M.T., A.S, S.S. STRENGTHS: Shortboard, Longboard, Snowboarding EXPERIENCE: Growing up in Northern California, Faith started surfing the Mountains on her snowboard. In 2001, she surfed her first time in Brazil where she met her husband. Since then, Faith has traveled all over the world and surfed many spots including Brazil, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Puerto Vallarta, Up and Down California, Oregon, Oahu, Maui and Kauai.
